It is with sadness, and even more gratitude, that we share this news: after much consideration and reflection, we have decided to let the sun set over Rise of Firstborn.

Rise of Firstborn has been our home for epic fantasy war. Together we unlocked legendary heroes, raised Citadels from the ground up and defended the world against the monsters of myth. You rallied your alliances through Dark Moon and Blood Moon War, fought season after season of Brutal Alliance War, pushed for Continent Domination and met your rivals head-on in Dimensional Battles. Every Kingdom has its own history of wars won, borders held and friendships forged, and you wrote all of it. We are proud of what we built together, and most of all of the community of Descendants that grew around it. As the Kingdoms grow quieter, we believe the best way to honour that community is to keep it together, in a world where the battles are still fierce.

We know that for many of you this has been a long journey, and this news may be hard to hear. We don’t want the story to end here, so please keep an eye out on your in-game Mail.

Until December 14th, Rise of Firstborn stays open. Every hero, every Citadel and every battle is still yours, so play, fight and finish what you started together.

■ What happens next

October 8th, 2026: In-game purchases stop. Rise of Firstborn can no longer be installed/downloaded from App Stores.

October 8th to December 14th, 2026: Rise of Firstborn stays playable. Your Citadel, heroes and alliance are all still there.

December 14th, 2026: The game is permanently shut down and all servers enter The Long Maintenance. After this date, the game will no longer be playable.

December 21st, 2026: Customer support for Rise of Firstborn will end.

January 15th, 2027: The official Rise of Firstborn Discord server closes.
